A whole year has passed and even though India had some successes like first successful mission to Moon, almost everyone agrees that national security has been the biggest failure through out the year. The year 2008 has seen maximum number of terror attacks and still India has not been able to respond upto citizens' satisfaction. This is because we as Indians tend of forget things much sooner, and within couple of weeks of the attack everything is back on tracks expect for those who have lost someone in these attacks. We no longer remember Bangalore blasts or Delhi blasts at Mehruli market and this forgetfulness of ours has increased the confidence of our foes to organize a coordinated attack in Mumbai towards the end of the year.
